• Marshy Grassland

Marshy Grassland is as an area that is subject to permanent, seasonal or periodic waterlogging, either as a result of surface run-off or ground water. It is associated with peaty or mineral soils and is dominated by a few characteristic species of the rush family (Juncaceae), most commonly Juncus effesus.
