- River management and habitat restoration
About 1 km of the River Cynnen borders the farm, and we have a similar amount of lesser tributaries and streams. Some of these are gradually being restored, mainly by ring-barking some of the over-hanging willows, to let in more light, improve plant and invertebrate populations and thus support brown trout and sea-trout. The rivers are used regularly by otters.
